Online Demonstration Workshop on 23rd September 2026
How could visual inspection, tactile sensing and robotic rework be combined to improve manufacturing quality processes?
This and many other questions were explored during the MAGICIAN Online Demonstrator Workshop last Wednesday, organized in collaboration with Digital Hub Karlsruhe | EDIH-AICS (European Digitial Innovation Hub – AI & Cybersecurity).
The 45 external participants from industry, research and other EDIHs experienced live demonstrations of three key MAGICIAN technologies by our partners fromIstituto Italiano di Tecnologia and Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH):
- Visual defect detection and classification
- Tactile defect detection and classification
- Robotic defect rework and removal
The practical demonstrations of the MAGICIAN robotic solutions showcased how these technologies can support smarter quality control as well as defect rework.
